Prayer
Prayers make a difference
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” — Philippians 4:6
Prayer is something that any of us can do at any time and anywhere. God promises to hear our prayers. No special language is needed and we can simply talk to God and bring needs, questions and thoughts to him.
We pray for our parish, city, comminities and our world everyday, as well as for individuals and families. Sometimes we pray on our own and at other times with other people.
If you would like us to pray for you or someone else, or for a situation that you are aware of, you can get in touch with us using the Prayer Request Box at the bottom of this page.
No request or need is too big or too small and it would be a privilege to pray for you or something that is close to your heart.
If you do not wish to leave contact details that is totally fine, simply let us know your request and we will pray accordingly.

Everyday Faith & Prayer
Everyday Faith is about where and how we encounter God as we go about our lives. Where is God during our daily lives? How do we find God in the fullness of everyday life?
Faith is connecting with the God who holds all things together. So, faith is found in our joys and cares, in our challenges and conflicts as we lean into God’s presence and guidance. Faith informs our thinking and our actions as we discern how God might be using us in his work. Faith is an ongoing encounter with God. Faith is our everyday existence with the God who holds all things together.
All of these things are a grace given to us and are sustained by prayer. You can join us for prayer throughout the week (not just on Sundays) and information can be found on our services page.
However, getting to church throughout the week is not easy, especially if you have other commitments or work. The Church of England Every Day Faith Portal can be access via the link below by clicking on the image which you might find useful in your faith journey.
