Morning Prayer at St Paul’s
Join us to start the day with worship with Morning Prayer held in the Lady Chapel at St. Paul’s without the Walls every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday at 9:15 am.
Following the Book of Common Worship, we say the psalms, listen to scripture together and to bring one another and the needs of our world, church and city before God in prayer.

Growing in Faith (GIF) – Monthly
Growing in Faith (GIF) is our worshipping community for people in their 20s and 30s at St Paul’s without the Walls for friendship and for exploring faith.
We meet once a month for a short act of worship, breakfast, and to be a community.
Alongside this there is also a welcome to Christianity course, a vocations course and discussion evening on any topic people would like.
We also have a WhattsApp group to keep in touch and for prayer requests.
Quiet Prayers at St Martin’s – Monthly
St Martin’s has been a place of prayer since the sixth century, and the walls are saturated with the prayers of monks and archbishops (historic and contemporary), pilgrims and visitors, as well as our regular congregation. Its small size brings intimacy to prayer, and is ideal for quiet reflection.
‘Quiet Prayers’ is a group (but not one you have to ‘sign up to’), which meets monthly, on the fourth Sunday at 5 p.m. for time together in silent prayer. We have no formal liturgy, though we come together at the end with a short form of said Compline, before going out into our lives and busy weeks ahead. In the winter, the darkness outside is challenged by our candles within; in the summer, with the church door open, we are blessed – sometimes! – by sunshine and birdsong, and look out onto, or walk quietly around, the beautiful churchyard.

Thursday Midday Prayers at St Martin’s – Weekly
As a precious place of pilgrimage for many from across all nations and denominations, each week we have a period of informal prayers where all are invited to gather to spend time in stillness and especially join in prayer for Christian Unity and peace.
Mothers Union Corporate Communion – Monthly
The Mother’s Union Corporate Communion Service gathers monthly on Saturday mornings, providing a dedicated time for members to worship together. Members participate in the Eucharist, strengthening their connections within the Mother’s Union community. This monthly service is an important time for fellowship, prayer, and spiritual growth among MU members.
