Visit St Martin's
St Martin’s: a community of prayer and welcome in the name of Jesus Christ since before 597AD.
Location: North Holmes Road, Canterbury, CT1 1PW - roughly a 10 minute walk from the City Centre, via Longport.
From April onwards, St Martin's will hopefully be open for the following visiting times:
Friday 10.00 - 14.00
Saturday 10.00 - 14.00
St Martin’s Church is part of the Canterbury World Heritage Site; the other two parts are Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine’s Abbey. You can book a special tour of all three parts of the Canterbury World Heritage Site – more information about the tours may be found at the website www.canterburyunescotour.co.uk.
Pre-booked groups to visit St Martin's Church can sometimes be accommodated at other times, by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. Donations are invited towards church costs. Operational costs and repairs are funded by the local congregation and gifts from visitors. The churchyard is always open.
Vehicle access via North Holmes Road is southbound only (no vehicle access from A257 St Martin’s Hill). On-street parking is available in North Holmes Road and St Martin’s Avenue. Restrictions apply Mon-Fri 8am-6.30pm (pay at machine, display ticket, maximum stay 2 hours).
