St Martin's & St Paul's
Parish Canterbury

Bible study groups have been a feature of our parish life for several years now. They started because several people had experienced them elsewhere and felt they could be part of God's plan for development and growth for Christians here. People who have joined a group value the open and supportive fellowship, the lively discussions, learning more about God's word and what it means in practical daily Christian living.
Two groups are starting their new sessions. One group meets on Tuesday evenings 7.45 to 9.00 pm alternating between 13 Stanmore Court and 205A Old Dover Road. This group starts again on Tuesday 15 September and will be studying a selection of Jesus' parables. Another group meets on Wednesday evenings, 7.45 to 9.00 pm, at 63 Oxford Road, Canterbury. This group starts again on Wednesday 7th October studying parts of the Book of Isaiah.
New members will be very welcome in both groups. If any group becomes too big for comfort, we split into two. Naturally, people have to miss some sessions because of other commitments and that is not a problem. The start of a new year for Bible study groups is an ideal time to consider if this might be part of God's plan for your life in the parish. You can always come to one session just to see if this seems right for you or not. You can also join any time after a series has started. Think about it; and if you are interested feel free to contact Brian or Jill Munday (01227-765464), or Dawn Andrews (01227-768797).
