Many people are involved every week to make sure that the church functions as it should. Here are some of them by title; over the next few weeks, we will be adding photographs and biographical information.
Canon Noelle Hall is the Rector of the parish, having moved to Canterbury from Sittingbourne in 2000. She is married to Malcolm and can be contacted by telephoning 01227 462686 or sending an email to noelle-at-thinker117.freeserve.co.uk. If you cut and paste this email address into your email browser, you will need to replace the -at- with an @ sign. The Rectory is at 13 Ersham Road, Canterbury, CT1 3AR.
Paul joined the parish as a curate (ie a clergyman still in training) in the summer of 2009. He was brought up in London and lived in Leicester for five years before moving to Whitstable in 1988. A research scientist by profession, he worked first in the Space Science research unit at the University of Kent and subsequently for the Ministry of Defence. Formally a convinced atheist, rather in the Richard Dawkins mould, Paul came to faith in 1998. His passions are mission and evangelism, the justice agenda, and the science-faith debate.
I'm Elisabeth Rutherford, and I am the Youth Worker at St Martin's and St Paul's. My work includes preparing Sunday Zone (the name of our Sunday School), organising activities and events for young people, and other community work, particularly in schools. Please contact me if you are a young person - it would be great to meet you! Also, if you would like to be involved with the youth work in any way then please get in touch.
